Planting Party & Skill Share

May 12, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us at the Old Oak Dojo for our annual planting party! We expanded the beds so we have a lot more planting space – tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cucumbers, okra and the list goes on..

Put your hands in the dirt and enjoy community, land, work and food on May 12th! We’ll provide some beer and food but would love if other folks could bring a drink, desert or something to throw on the grill too!

The Old Oak Dojo is a movement space for building community resilience. Few things shout that more than abundance in the garden created by many hard working, loving hands. Level up your gardening skills, have fun and be the object of our affection and gratitude! ♥

The space is based on principals of gift culture and gift economy. We offer the space to the community for organizing and movement work and hope to inspire others to give in ways that inspire them as well, whether that’s giving back or giving elsewhere.

Logistics: if you’re driving up, please do not park anywhere on Chestnut Place (our street), instead please park on Chestnut Ave.

Excited to see all your beautiful faces! All ages and first timers very welcome.
