Yoga Retreat: Between the Pairs of Opposites

June 3 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

A mind/body yoga retreat to explore the muscles that work in opposition in our bodies to maintain structural integrity. This also leads us to experience what the yogis describe as ‘the Pair of Opposites” a function of forces that keeps the universe, society and our lives in balance. This awareness helps us to cope with the extremes in this current social/political climate without losing our sanity or becoming depressed and stressed.

Suitable for all levels – beginners to experienced yoga fans.

Lucilda Dassardo-Cooper, a student and teacher of yoga for more than 3 decades will lead the workshop. Lucilda is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher who studies and teaches yoga in meditation centers and ashrams nationally and internationally, and is a certified yoga therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is also an artist who has represented the United States internationally.
