A 3-Week Workshop with Liberatory Theater Project

Do you want a more easeful relationship with your body?

Are you curious about how your body can AIDE your thriving?

Our power lies just beyond our shame.

Body as Power is a workshop to help participants move from the body as a problem to the body as a source of power. Together, we compassionately explore the stories we hold about our bodies and then create and practice new ones.  Over three weeks, we will explore the world of our bodies using theater, contemplative practices, and body awareness practices. Body as Power

is an invitation to practice a new relationship with your body, in a loving and creative community.

This workshop is an anti-racist, body positive, fat positive, trans-affirming space.

June 01 2pm-5pm

June 08 2pm-5pm

June 15 2pm-5pm

This workshop will be facilitated by Liberatory Theater Project Founder, Jax Gil.

Liberatory Theater Project explores applied theater, contemplative, and somatic practices in service of community dialogue, social change, and embodied transformation. We are an anti-oppressive space that practices the liberation we seek.
