Structural Oppression and Health Inequities

September 30, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

An intensive workshop for medical residents to explore how structural oppression—explicitly including neoliberalism and structural racism—operate to create illness and health inequities. As physicians, we will grapple with the ways in which we are complicit with these injurious forces, and begin to imagine how we can realign our work to dismantle them.
